Celebrating Excellence: 2025 USA TODAY Top Workplaces Award Winners.

The 2025 USA TODAY Top Workplaces Awards recognize companies that put people, culture, and employee engagement first. The awards are based on anonymous feedback from employees gathered by HR technology firm Energage. More than 1,500 companies were recognized across the country for their exceptional workplace culture and practices.

The Evaluation Process.

Energage extended invitations to 40,000 businesses in the U.S. to participate in the Top Workplaces survey. The businesses had to have at least 150 workers and a high rate of worker response. The survey assessed 15 drivers of culture, such as leadership, alignment, connection, and execution. Each of the scores came only from employee opinion, not from company benefits or advertising.

Who Made the List.

This year’s recipients cross several sectors such as healthcare, finance, technology, education, and more. Some of the notable firms are Fairway Independent Mortgage, CHG Healthcare, Fannie Mae, and Progressive Insurance. These firms have a strong emphasis on open communication and employee wellness. Their leadership emphasizes transparency, development, and care, which makes employees feel truly valued.

USA TODAY Recognition strengthens employer brand and assists firms in attracting and retaining the best talent. Good workplace culture contributes to improved performance, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
